This coat or jacket chosen from a Burda pattern offers different variations on the length as well as the collar. Pockets are inserted in the front in the longer version or sewn outside the front in the shorter version. Both versions are lined making this project one of the most challenging.

Skills learned:

• Master the fitting of sleeves and collar.
• Inserting pockets.
• Fixing fusible interfacing.
• Fitting shoulder pads
• lining a garment.
• Making button holes on thicker layers of fabric.

Skills level: Challenging. Experience in dressmaking required.

Included: All equipment and tools are provided as well as refreshments.

Excluded: Fabrics (main fabric and lining) , the notions and matching thread must be provided for this project. We can order the pattern on your behalf or you can purchase it online. All the details on the pattern and any other information will be sent to you upon confirmation of your booking.

Booking in advance essential. Classes are available between 5pm and 9pm from Monday to Friday or all day on Saturdays.

A non refundable deposit may be required to secure your booking. We accept bank, card or cash payment and it must be settled in full before or on the 1st day of the course.
