Introduction to dressmaking

We strongly encourage all our clients, whether they are new to dressmaking or not, to register for this class, where many tips and techniques will be taught on how to adapt and fit your own sewing pattern. This class has been designed with an extra extension (part 2), hence the 2 prices below.

Part 1 will be showing you how to measure yourself properly, which will in turn determine the size of your pattern you need to work on. Then, you will be taught how to make the necessary adjustments on your paper pattern according to your shape. No cutting or sewing will be carried out in this class. You will need to bring your own pattern and wear tight fitting clothes on the day (T-shirt & leggings) to enable accurate measurements.
