Beginner express

This class has been especially designed to accommodate anyone who needs a sewing crash course and cannot attend regularly weekly classes. It is taught privately to ensure you get the time and attention you need.

Cost: £75.00 Duration: 6 hours

Skills learned:

• the meaning of pattern symbols.
• how to operate a sewing machine.
• sew straight lines using basic stitches.
• learn how to finish seams.
• make a zipped pocket.
• learn how to make buttonholes.
• learn how and use fusible interfacing.

Included: All the equipment, tools, fabric and notions needed for your project are included. The pattern and tutorial notes will be given so that you can brush up and practice what you have learned at home. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided throughout the day but you will need to bring a lunch box.

You are welcome to bring and work on your own sewing machine but make sure it is in good working condition.

Booking in advance essential. A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your booking. This class is only available on Saturdays . We start at 9am and end at 3:30pm.

We accept bank, card or cash payment and it must be settled in full before or on the first day of the course.
